Good morning Cardinals, this is your daily bulletin for Wednesday, October 12th, 2016!  Please stand for the pledge of allegiance. (pause) Ready salute.

 

PROM: Seniors, Prom tickets will start at $85.  Do you need assistance?  There is a fundraising opportunity selling chocolate bars that will pay for your ticket.  If interested, please see Mr. Mosqueda by Friday.

 

HOMECOMING QUAD DECORATIONS: In response to the rain on Friday, we will have our quad decorations tomorrow morning.  All other Homecoming activities will be the same.  Contact your officers for more information.

 

CAPS & GOWNS AND CLASS RINGS: Seniors, order your caps and gowns and class rings next Thursday and Friday October 20th and 21st in the senior quad from 10:00AM til 3:30pm.  Extra packets are in the main gym.

 

INTERACT: Light The Night is on October 22nd at the Avaya Stadium! Sign ups are on the Facebook page! Please sign up ASAP and join us on a walk to pursue a cure for leukemia patients! Any questions please ask any officers you see on campus!

 

SENIORS: The deadline for taking your picture for the yearbook is in 2 weeks.  If you need information, please see Mr. Mosqueda in the Activities Office.

 

CONGRATULATIONS: Special shout out to Sergio Conriquez and Tommy Cabral. They were in Southern California this weekend for the Real to Reel Global Youth Film Festival and they won Best Biography for their short film, Into Sergio. They had the experience of walking the red carpet, participating in a panel and workshops.

 

CVC: Attention all CVC members: you can now purchase this year's club shirt at the bank for $8! Buy them ASAP because they are limited. Any questions/concerns feel free to ask any officer.

 

DRAMA: Anyone interesting in watching Hamilton: the American musical in San Francisco in the spring, there is a meeting THURSDAY at lunch in room 816.

 

MATH TUTORING: Integrated Math 1, 2, & 3 tutoring is available every Tuesday and  Thursday in room 212 from 3:30 - 4:30. Stop by for help on homework or to study for an Exam.

 

AIRSOFT: The airsoft club meets every other Thursday at 3:30 in room 1002.  Come by if you are interested in airsoft.

 

POLY: There is a meeting at lunch in room 402. See you there!

 

CARDINAL WRITING CENTER: Need assistance with any writing? Maybe there is an English paper you need to finish and would like assistance.  The Cardinal Writing Center is now open.  Come to room 806 after school and get help.

 

SPIRIT WEEK: Next week is spirit week! Dress out and go to the senior quad to get spirit points and join in on the LTAs!

Today: Wicked Wednesday- wear dark or halloween-y clothes!

Tomorrow: Never Grow Up- wear stuff you wore as a kid!

Friday: That’s So Cardinals- wear class colors. ℅ 2017 is pink, ℅ 2018 is purple, ℅ 2019 is green, ℅ 2020 is yellow!

 

HOMECOMING: There are 2 more days until Homecoming! (WOO) Do you want to help your class with decorations? Well, contact your class officers for more info! Homecoming Dance is on October 15th, tickets are on sale right now at the bank, for $7 with ASB and $10 without! You can also purchase your tickets from any ASB officers! We will have a flipbook booth and more!

 

HOMECOMING CONTEST:  It’s homecoming season! Time to ask your dates and friends! The pair with the cutest homecoming proposal will win free tickets to the dance and a front of the line pass for the flipbook booth. All you have to do to enter is use #mphshococontest2016 on your photo or video on instagram and be public or make sure you are following us at mphscardinals! The contest ends today so it's your last chance!

 

SPORTS PHYSICALS: Attention all Winter Sports athletes, we have a physical schedule date on October 21st and 28. Sign up with Mr. Rocha in the Activities Office.
